Come check out SR3NJ, a local Search and Rescue team based in Sussex County NJ!
You will get to meet members of the team, including K9 handlers, and of course the dogs themselves!
This educational booth at the fair will help you and your kids learn about all the ways that dogs can rescue people with their incredible sense of smell. You can also learn about helping to train the dogs, joining the team, or about the educational programs that SR3NJ provides throughout the year. The dogs are trained to be calm under very stressful situations, they love people, so all the sights and sounds of the fair do not bother them. Since the dogs love people, they can be petted, and a few love to lick faces. The SR3NJ booth will be close to the fairground entrance.
