The CARE Center of NJ, in partnership with the 11th Annual Tri-County Fair in Rockaway, NJ, is proud to honor some of our community’s bravest young fighters—children recovering from serious illnesses.
In June 2025, these Fair Superstars and their families will be treated to an all-access VIP experience, including free rides, games, food, prizes, and more—a day filled with joy, fun, and unforgettable memories.
We invite area hospitals to help us recognize these incredible kids by nominating a Fair Superstar.
We believe in recognizing the extraordinary strength it takes to overcome illness, and we are excited to offer a day where these families can relax, enjoy, and be celebrated by their community. Who is eligible?
Any child that is amidst recovery or has fully recovered from any type of illness or sickness is eligible to be selected for this initiative. We want to involve many recovering children that can benefit from this unique experience.
How can my hospital or medical group participate?
Hospitals can participate by partnering with us to identify children in recovery who would benefit from this special opportunity. We invite hospital administrators to collaborate in selecting suitable candidates for the event.
There will be a reception time for hospital representatives and the families to get away from the crowds and enjoy come indoors at a certain point of the day.
How can we nominate children for the event?

Who is organizing this event?
The event is organized by the Care Center of New Jersey, in collaboration with the 2025 Tri-County Fair. Our mission is to support the community and enhance the well-being of children in recovery.

What are the dates and location of the event?
The event will take place over two days during the 2025 Tri-County Fair. The fairgrounds are located at 140 Green Pond Rd in Rockaway, NJ 07866. Specific dates will be provided closer to the event, based off availability of the children and other factors.
What activities will be available for the children and their families?
The event will feature a variety of activities tailored to children in recovery, including entertainment, games, rides, interactive activities, and opportunities for family bonding. Our goal is to create a joyful and engaging experience for all participants, keeping in mind any medical restrictions.
Is there a cost to attend the event?
Attendance for selected children and their families is free of charge. A representative from the participating hospital may also attend at no cost. The Care Center of New Jersey and the 2025 Tri-County Fair are covering all associated costs to ensure a memorable experience for the families.
