Thank you for signing up to graciously serve as a volunteer at the Tri-County Fair!

Important details:

  • Parking: PLEASE PARK AT SHUTTLE PARKING LOT LOCATION TBA. THE SHUTTLE WILL DRIVE YOU TO THE CHURCH AND BRING YOU BACK AFTER YOUR SHIFT. PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE 20-30 MINUTES EARLY TO ALLOW TIME FOR SHUTTLING.
  • Volunteer check-in area: Enter the building through the Administrative Entrance and proceed into the Q Hall. (Do not enter through the normal Sunday services entrance)
  • If you have mobility issues or need handicap parking, please park on-site at the church 140 Green Pond Rd. Please only use this option if it is necessary, as this parking option will be very limited.
  • Check-in: Once you have checked in, there are snacks and water available in the cafeteria, plus a shirt for you to wear while volunteering. Please wear comfortable clothes, including sneakers so you can stand for longer periods of time. There is a table for each serving area where you can gather with other volunteers on your shift and to meet your team lead. Please wear your shirt from last year if you still have it 🙂.
  • Weather updates: These will be sent out via text and email. Please note: we don’t make any weather decisions until a few hours before the fair opens due to the ever-changing weather forecast.
  • Running late or day-of updates: You can call our volunteer hotline at 973-783-1010 x265 OR you can text the team lead for your area. The volunteer hotline will only be operational the days/times of the fair.
  • DRESS CODE: As representatives of Christ at the fair, we ask everyone serving to dress modestly and comfortably. Please avoid clothing that may be distracting, such as tight fitting pants/leggings, short shorts, or clothing with inappropriate graphics.
Please encourage any family/friends to volunteer at the fair as well! Every year, we need 1,000 volunteers to help serve over 30,000 people!
